The 2.54mm to 2.0mm pitch COM Port header adapter cable connects a standard 2.54mm pitch IDC10 COM Port connector to a motherboard with 2.0mm pitch header. Many newer embedded mainboards require 2.0mm COM Port connector such as VIA VB8001, VIA VB8003, VIA VB7007, VIA EPIA SN18000G, VIA EPIA SN10000EG, etc.

The adapter works with both Everex type and DTK type COM Ports.
