The VIA ARTiGO A1100 is an ultra compact system based on the EPIA P820 Pico-ITX embedded mainboard with a maximum height of 56mm, width of 99mm and length of 146mm. The ARTiGO A1100 system has a rugged aluminum case, design to ensure maximum reliability. The small and stylish design housing of the ARTiGO A1100 is composed of three mechanical parts - the chassis, removable top cover and front faceplate. The space saving design enables it to be installed in space critical environments.

The optimized integration with front and rear I/O access enables the ARTiGO A1100 system to easily support various applications as well as for easy integration and quick set up - including a quick data transmission by USB device port which comes standard on the ARTiGO A1100, as a USB Client device for user friendly and quick data transfer to another computer. The ARTiGO A1100 supports hardware acceleration of MPEG-2, MPEG 4, WMV9 and H.264 for 1080p full HD display. The ARTiGO A1100 also equipped with an RJ-45 port that supports Gigabit Ethernet, and an optional WLAN module that gives the ARTiGO A1100 freedom of WiFi access.

The ARTiGO A1100 is 100% compatible with several operating systems including Microsoft XP, Windows XP Embedded, and Ubuntu Linux. The ARTiGO A1100 is also well suited to the newest Microsoft Windows 7 operating system.
